Custom 24 Rosewood * Scalloped neck.

2004 PRS Custom 24 Rosewood; rosewood neck, nicely figured maple top, birds, and - bonus - the last 12 frets have been professionally scalloped. Overall excellent condition though there is a flaw on the back of the neck - see pics - Not sure what's going on here but 2 things are for sure, 1) Paul wouldn't have let it out of the factory like this, and 2) There is no damage to the neck; no cracks, breaks, dents, dings etc. that would indicate that it took a hit or a fall. It appears to be a minor, superficial split in the wood, and the discoloration surrounding it ( mineral? sap? ) likely has something to do with it.
